Sky Handling Partner win new Contracts at London City
Sky Handling Partner are pleased to announce the successful procurement of two new airline contracts operating out of London City Airport. We recently finalised the contracts with Tap Airlines, the national air carrier of Portugal and VLM airlines and they are set to commence later in October. From the 29th October, Tap Air Portugal will operate two daily flights from London City Airport to Lisbon from Monday to Friday. The weekend service on this route will include one flight on both Saturday and Sunday. The Slovenian airline VLM, previously operated from Belgium, are back to continue daily flights between London City and Antwerp, Belgium’s second city. VLM originally operated this route for fifteen years in the early days of the airport’s history. The route was taken up by Cityjet in 2009 who will cease traffic on this route from the end of October.
The VLM flights to Antwerp will commence on the 30th October with three flights per day from Monday to Friday and two on a Sunday. VLM’s swift adoption of this route ensures that passengers who rely on this route for frequent travel to and from Antwerp won’t experience any interruption in their travel plans. We look forward to servicing these airlines at London City Airport and anticipate a long and successful partnership with them.
