KLM have returned to London City Airport this month after 8 years. In choosing to return to London City, the Dutch flag carrier airline have cited the benefit to passengers of being located in the heart of London. With KLM reinstated in London City they present plenty of options to passengers with access to their vast international network.
The inaugural flight took place on the 6th February, with an arrival in London at 7.20 am. When the news was announced in November of last year, it was expected that the London – Amsterdam route would initially operate one flight per day. The plan was to increase this to four over the coming months. However, KLM have already announced that they will further increase their schedule for the summer period. KLM now plan to operate eight flights a day from London City to Amsterdam Schiphol.
